Welcome to the website for Spean Bridge Community Centre.

The Community Centre is widely used by many local organisations and provides an easily accessible and affordable space. We welcome bookings from local groups as well as those from further afield.

The facilities comprise of:-

  • a large main hall. This hall is marked out as a badminton court, and also features a high ceiling.  This hall is perfect for performances, active games, weddings and birthday parties. A stage is available to be set up for bands and performances.
  • a small committee room adjacent to the kitchen and bar, ideal for small parties and get togethers.
  • additionally, there is a foyer, a kitchen, ample toilet facilities (incl disabled), and 2 showers.
  • a bar – occasional licence can be sought for events

Spean Bridge Community Centre (Village Hall) was built in 1980 and has become a vital asset to the community. It is owned and run by the people of Spean Bridge. Over the years a team of committed volunteers have given their time, practical skills, energy and enthusiasm to maintain and upkeep the hall. The hall relies on income from lettings throughout the year in order to meet its running costs.  The income from letting is supplemented by money raised from annual fundraising events and over the years improvements and upgrades have been made to the building and the facilities.

The Hall committee were successful in an application to the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund in 2016 and with this grant the hall has benefited from new LED lighting, double glazed windows as well as loft and external wall insulation. We are grateful to local residents, businesses and the Pebble Trust for their donations towards a renewable heating system to be installed May/June 2018.
